How do Hydrogen Generators Work?
This generator use electricity provided by the car's alternator to split water into it's elements, hydrogen and oxygen. This type of dissociation reaction is called electrolysis and was discovered in 1800 when William Nicholson and Johann Ritter decomposed water into hydrogen and oxygen.
Today this is the second most common way to generate Hydrogen for industry and is even used for making educational toys such as Cars and Rockets.
